About Front Load Washer Repair

Why We Only Do Front-Loaders

Most appliance-repair listings treat a washing machine as a washing machine. Anyone who has owned a front-loader knows better. These machines have a rubber door boot that traps water after every cycle and eventually grows mold. They have a drain pump filter behind a panel most owners have never opened. Their drum hangs horizontally on a sealed bearing that carries the full weight of a wet load at spin speed. They have an aluminum spider arm that corrodes. They require HE detergent and produce suds faults when they do not get it. Not one of those parts exists on a top-loader.

So when someone with a moldy gasket or a roaring bearing searches for help, a general appliance listing does not actually answer their question. That gap is the entire reason this network exists.

How the Network Works

We are a referral and dispatch network, not a repair company. We do not employ technicians and we do not perform repairs. When you call, we take the details of your machine and your location and route the job to an independent, licensed local business that services front-loading washers regularly. They quote you a flat price before any work begins, they do the work, and you pay them directly. If the job is not done right, we will send another partner in the network at no extra cost to you.

How Partners Are Vetted

Every technician is checked for active licensing and insurance before taking a single referral, and re-checked on a rolling basis afterwards. Partners stay in the network on the strength of showing up when they say they will and quoting straight. That is a lower bar than a franchise and a considerably higher one than a directory listing anybody can buy their way onto.

What We Will Not Do

We will not tell you a repair is worth doing when it is not. A corroded spider arm on a ten-year-old machine, or a bearing left long enough to chew up the drum, can cost close to what a replacement washer costs — and the technicians we work with are expected to say so rather than take the job. We also do not publish star ratings, review counts, or years-in-business figures, because we do not have audited data behind them and inventing them would be the easiest thing on this page to fake.
